Somatic Trauma Therapist & Embodiment Guide

Healing for me is relational, sacred, an honor, and a privilege. I guide clients with compassion and clarity, not from a distance, but as someone who is doing their own deep work alongside you, moving through tender, transformative parts of that journey, and holding space for transformation, presence, and deeper connection.

Whatever my clients are navigating, I’ve likely encountered something similar enough in flavor, which allows me to offer not just knowledge, but practices grounded in lived experience.

My role is to guide with presence and practicality, helping you access the wisdom of your own body and inner knowing so you don’t have to navigate it all alone.

Rooted in the ancestral wisdom of ritual and ceremony, the richness of my Jewish lineage, and a deep reverence for the sacred, I bring together numerous professional trainings with academic degrees in psychology, sociology, crisis and trauma intervention, and somatic psychotherapy.

Therapeutic Approach & Style

My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens through the body, in relationship, and at the pace of your nervous system.

I bring a warm, direct, and attuned presence to each session, creating space where you can slow down, feel safe, and explore what’s really happening beneath the surface.

I blend evidence-based psychology with somatic and spiritual practices, helping you reconnect with your body’s wisdom, and move from survival patterns toward presence and authenticity.

This work isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” — it’s about reclaiming what’s true, integrating what’s been held, and expanding your capacity for connection, pleasure, and self-trust.

Healing, to me, is a return to wholeness: to feeling safe in your body, alive in your relationships, and at ease in who you are.

Occasionally, my dog Lumi makes his presence known during a session. He tends to bring warmth and levity to the space—and if that’s not your thing, that’s okay; it’s important we’re the right fit.

Education

I earned a Master’s in Clinical Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Somatic Psychotherapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), a program that integrates Eastern philosophies with Western psychology and emphasizes embodied, trauma-informed, and experiential learning.

I also hold a Master’s in Crisis and Trauma Intervention and degrees in Psychology and Sociology. My training includes extensive study in yoga, meditation, Holistic Pelvic Care™, embodiment and intimacy work, and energy-based healing and intuition medicine,  allowing us to bridge science and spirit in our work together.

Background

I bring East Coast roots, Bay Area seasoning, and a worldview shaped by years of travel and living abroad. Experiencing different cultures deepens my appreciation for the many ways people find meaning, resilience, and connection.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me at the farmers market, meandering in nature, or snuggling my therapy dog-in-training, Haloumi; small rituals that remind me of the same presence and embodiment I support my clients in cultivating.
